Welcome to DuoFix.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website https://duofix.nl and to all home repair, maintenance and improvement services (“Services”) provided by DuoFix VOF.

By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Scope of Services

DuoFix provides home repair, maintenance and improvement services as agreed with the client via WhatsApp, email, quotation or website booking. Services are performed based on the information provided by the client (description, photos, measurements).

2. Service Packages & Working Time

We work with fixed service packages (e.g. 3h / 4h / 6h) or Custom Projects.

  • Working time starts upon arrival at the work location.

  • DuoFix operates as a two-person team on every job.

  • Pricing is per package or agreed project, not per person.

3. Additional Time

If additional time is required and the client requests us to continue, extra time is charged at €85 per hour (two-person team).
We will always inform you and obtain confirmation before continuing.

4. Materials & Purchases

Unless explicitly stated, materials are not included.

Clients may:

  • provide materials themselves, or

  • request DuoFix to purchase materials on their behalf (charged separately with receipt).

If provided materials are unsuitable or unsafe, we may propose alternatives to ensure quality and safety.

5. Quotes, Changes & Scope Adjustments

Quotes are based on the information provided before the job.
If the scope changes on-site, any additional work and cost will be confirmed before proceeding. Confirmation via WhatsApp is accepted.

6. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of the job unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Tikkie

  • Bank transfer

  • Other agreed methods

For larger or material-heavy projects, a deposit may be requested and agreed upfront.

7. Weekends & Urgent Jobs

Weekend work is currently charged at the same rate as weekdays.
Urgent jobs are handled case by case. Pricing may change in the future.

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must reschedule at least 48 hours in advance.
Late cancellations may incur a call-out or reservation fee if time and travel were reserved.

9. Client Responsibilities & Access

Clients must:

  • provide safe and reasonable access to the work area,

  • inform us of relevant conditions (parking, stairs, lift access, restrictions),

  • secure valuables, personal documents and fragile items.

10. Cleanliness & Work Conditions

We protect the work area and clean up before leaving.
Some dust, noise or disruption is normal for certain tasks (e.g. drilling, sanding, flooring).

11. Photos & Media

DuoFix may take before/after photos for internal documentation.
Public use (website or social media) requires client permission.
We do not intentionally publish personal data (faces, documents, addresses).

12. Warranty & Limitations

Services are performed with reasonable professional care.

Warranty does not cover:

  • misuse or neglect,

  • third-party work,

  • pre-existing or hidden defects.

If an issue arises, please contact us promptly so we can assess it.

13. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All content on https://duofix.nl (text, images, videos, logos, designs) is the property of DuoFix VOF unless stated otherwise.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify or use our content without written permission.

14. Links to Our Website

You may link to our homepage provided the link:

  • is not misleading,

  • does not imply endorsement,

  • fits within the context of your website.

We reserve the right to request removal of any link.

15. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies for proper functionality.
Optional analytics or marketing cookies are only used with your consent.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, DuoFix is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence,

  • fraud or misrepresentation,

  • liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Changes to These Terms

DuoFix may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the website or services implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
